This book has taken over mao mind, I'm downloading Mao pictures and collecting Mao quotes on mao computer. I am engaged fully in Mao struggle, in fact. It's a long book, about 700 pages worth of starvation, random acts of cruelty, commie-niving and much mao. Fascinating as I find Stalin, Da Chairman puts him in the tyrant shade. I'm in awe of the maofo, and I am not ashamed to confess it, nor denounce lesser tyrants as paper tigers. Often do I laugh in bemusement and consternation at the antics of the man who murdered 70 million of his extended kin, and all for pseudo-ideological reasons only he cared about. Such a man challenges all we believe and as far as "God" goes, if He was hiding at Auschwitz then He was long-term leave for this extravaganza of misery. Mao really was a character and a son only a Mephistopheles could love. The book is superb, in essence. A long march but hey...
